  Mimamsa Art is an art platform for folk artists from across the Indian subcontinent. We are based on principles of fair-trade and our artists set the price we pay. This means, your purchases make a real difference in the life of the creator and helps in bringing about sustainable change to artisan communities who, most times, struggle to access profitable markets.
  
  All paintings are one-off original work, lovingly crafted, exquisitely detailed and a reflection of life occasions and daily living as experienced by the artist. Every piece is extensively researched by really knowing our artists, stories behind their creations and its provenance. We believe in the power of culture as an enabler and support its preservation by encouraging emerging artists to learn their skills passed from one generation to next over hundreds of years, explaining the value of their art in the global marketplace and providing a means to access it.

  Founder: Vishal Kaimal
  Most of his life Vish has worked at crossroads of innovation and technology. He takes inspiration being part of disruptive product developments and working with some of the brightest minds of the industry. He like vintage, plays soccer and is a sucker for culture, history and art. Father to a toddler and although a little clumsy in private, he is a veteran collaborator and skilled operator.
