Business profile

SoftPLC is an operating system in it's own right that allows any PC platform to become a PLC. SoftPLC does not use or run under Microsoft Windows. The speed and memory capacity of the PC hardware, combined with the determinism of the PLC scan provided by the runtime kernel create opportunities for the user that many other PLC brands cannot emulate.Users can choose the hardware platform of choice or make use of SoftPLC's proprietary, modular hardware format, known as Tealware. I/O can be local or remote. The systems are capable of sending emails (with attachments) out of the box and an optional Webserver may be used to create simple SCADA solutions.SoftPLC may be used in place of Allen-Bradley CPU's and can communicate peer-to-peer with other A-B PLC's. Code for legacy A-B products such as PLC-2, PLC-3,PLC-5 and SLC series processors can be uploaded and run in the SoftPLC. usually with little modification.Code for SoftPLC can be created using JAVA or C++, reducing the amount of logic required for complex algorithms or custom drivers. Up to 36 simultaneuos serial ports and/or 16 fieldbus networks are supported. Up to 1 million analogue points are possible as well as up to 16,000 inputs AND 16,000 outputs.SoftPLC is compatible with 99% of HMI and SCADA products in the market today.
