It operates from the former Prince Henry Hospital site at Little Bay - hours are 9.00am - 3.00pm weekdays.The aim of the Centre is to provide activities for physical, mental, social, cultural and artistic enrichment.A wide variety of classes and activities are offered. Physical - Bowls, boule, pool, line dancing, tap dancing, Middle Eastern dancing, table tennis, tai chi, walking, men's exercise and women's exercise. Arts and Crafts - calligraphy, candle-wicking, embroidery, crochet, folk art, leatherwork, oil and water colour painting. Other Activities - bridge, computers, drama, singing, languages, travel and history. Podiatry and hearing services are also available. Each month has a major event or function such as the Market Day, the Big Band Day, the Art Show, the Concert and the Speakers Morning.
