Some of the best accessible virgin forest and the tallest, at 89 metres, of the Karri trees can be found here. The opening of the Dave Evans Bicentennial Tree in November 1995 along with the walk trails, picnic and barbecue areas, coach and car/caravan parking facilities has greatly improved the accessibility of this beautiful park and is now one of our most popular attractions in the Karri forest. The Marianne North Tree is also in the Warren National Park. This tree gets its name from the painting done of it by the artist, Marianne North, in 1880 which now hangs in Kew Gardens, London. The Maidenbush Trail is a great drive through the park and follows the Warren River for much of the time. There are designated camping spots on this trail and some popular fishing and marroning spots in season. Canoeing is also a favourite on the Warren River. The Warren National Park is located in the south west and is approximately 3,131 hectares and is located 15 kilometres south west of Pemberton. Best time to visit spring to summer.
