Its numerous public activities include representing the community at parades, festivals, tattoos and other special occasions. Many people, when organizing their wedding or other special occasion, call on the City of Blacktown Pipe Band to add that special touch which only a Piper or a Pipe Band can provide. The City of Blacktown Pipe Band is actually three separate bands all of which compete regularly at local and overseas competitions in different ability grades. This ensures there is a place for everybody, whether a beginner or an Open Grading Pipers and drummers at the very peak of their ability. It remains the only band in New South Wales with representation in Grades 1,3 and 4.Enquiries regarding bookings should be directed in the first instance to [email protected]
