Write a reviewKB Paws became the first independent organisation in Western Australia other than the RSPCA who has the ability and backing to seize mistreated animals and prosecute cruelty cases With assistance from our Rangers service, we will be working to establish an approved program for school children to learn the basics in responsible pet care and how to avoid dangerous situations This will only be available to the pets being adopted from our Adoption yard Embarrassingly, our community has one of the highest rates of animal abandonment, pound turnover/euthanasia and some serious and shocking animal welfare issues To lobby Local and State Government to introduce sensible and workable animal control legislation which our members may feel is currently inadequate
