Write a reviewHCRRA is a group of people from across Australia with different backgrounds and experience who have come together under one banner because they believe that Australians living in the rural and remote areas of this country have the right to receive a reasonable level of health care HCRRA was incorporated in 1994 and is now very highly regarded by policy makers as a trusted, reliable and truly representative voice of rural and remote health consumers Through our members and their many networks, HCRRA is to be able to collect the first hand experiences of consumers and, in so doing, make a real contribution to the policy making process by ensuring the debate is informed by wide practical experience We endeavour to inform policy makers at all levels of the experiences and opinions of consumers in rural and remote areas in an effort to ensure their views are taken into account in policy formation As a foundation member of the National Rural Health Alliance, we are an active group involved in sharing information and developing networks with health consumers and consumer organisations throughout rural and remote Australia
