Many of our rooms open directly onto secure courtyard areas with full colourful landscaping. Bedrooms all have electrically operated multi adjustable beds , large wardrobe with lockable drawers and a bedside cabinet. The ensuite bathrooms are quite large capable of accommodating a wheelchair, and have grab rails, and non slip surfaces. Many bedrooms are specifically setup for disabled access. We have a secure dementia wing, and an active diversional therapy program, and residents can access secure sheltered outdoor areas. We have separate dining facilities for both high care, low care, and dementia residents. Kyneton Community Aged Care is fully Accredited by the Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency. A new 30 bed wing opens late in 2011.
