At present we are an umbrella organisation supporting a number of choirs: CHIME Senior Choir; CHIME Youth Choir; CHIME Touring Choir; and the Australian Christmas Choir. We are recognised as one of Melbournes premiere choir organisations with numerous successes in local and international competitions. Having conducted international tours every three to four years, the Choral Institute has also acquired international recognition. Since the mid-1980s we have toured to North America, Hong Kong, Japan, and Europe, most recently participating the the 1st and 3rd Choir Olympics
