Since 1997 Chillquest P/L has been manufacturing ice packs for the transportation of perishables. Industries supplied include Live and chilled seafood export through to pharmaceuticals.Noticing a lack of quality ice packs &/or gel packs for the retail camping and fishing industries icebox, the Downunder Arctic Ice Packs were developed and launched in 2004.In 2009 supply of the Downunder Arctic Ice Dry Gel packs commenced. Dry Gel Packs are shipped to our worldwide customers dehydrated and when required they are soaked in water to activate the non toxic freezer gel.Unlike similar products, our packs have polyester both sides, one side slotted to allow hydrating.Reusable, clean and hygienic, hydrate quicker than our competitor's products, so our customers tell us, and they won't stick together in the freezer. As opposed to ice, these packs will freeze as cold as your freezers capability. Minus 15 to 20 degrees Celcius is normal.
