We offer a service to the people of the City of Greater Geelong, the Bellarine Peninsula, Surfcoast Shire and beyond to collect their unwanted mattress and bases for the prime use of recycling. We collected from domestic homes, businesses and transfer stations/landfills. Items that are in good condition are cleaned and sanitised and are donated to welfare. Those that are not in good condition are pulled apart and the material is reclycled. The spring sets are melted down, the foam is recycled into carpet underlay and the timber from the bases is mulched for gardens or used as firewood. OUR MAIN AIM IS TO KEEP BOTH MATTRESS AND BASES OUT OF LANDFILL.
