As well as academic knowledge, Leonie brings a strong practical "hands on" experiential background to her practice in Counselling, Mediation and Training having worked in both the public and private education sector for some 20 years as well as counselling and delivering the Youth Pathways Program. Working for many years in Behaviour Support Units and Special Education Centres, Leonie has committed a large portion of her career to facilitating learning for people who are challenged. Leonie is a published author who, for the last 8 years has written a weekly column in the "The Messenger" Magazine
