Nationally accredited Do-re-mi for children is a research-based program for children 0 - 10 years that offers enjoyable, group music lessons based on the educational, social, emotional and physical needs of your child. Children will explore beat, rhythm, melody and dynamics across a variety of music styles. While having fun singing, dancing and playing instruments, they will be developing other learning skills such as memory, language, creative problem solving, group participation and self confidence. Come along and unlock the door to your child's creativity! Have fun meeting other kids who love to sing whilst learning good vocal technique, sight reading, harmony and confident performance skills. Members are regularly selected for school solos and performing arts programs. 2015 AGE GROUPS: 1. Introduction to Music (0-6 months) by appointment : Provides research-base information about how best to guide young children through their musical development and practical ideas to use at home. 2. Tiny Tots (6-36 months) : Babies and toddlers learn the routine and respond enthusiastically to singing, dancing and percussion activities. 3. Toddlers (turning 3 years) : Parents or caregivers learn the vocabulary of music concepts together with the children by experiencing a wider range of musical patterns and foundation music skills through games, movement, singing and using instruments.
