  "Kerrie Allen is a self taught cake decorator, living in the Tweed Heads area of NSW. A good part of her working life, in later years, has involved Aged Care, but since retiring over ten years ago, her love and passion for cooking, especially anything to do with cakes, has finally evolved. Her husband of 13 years, is her main support and "cheer squad" when it comes to showcasing her cakes, he is number one driver when delivering cakes, and her main critique. After initially taking private lessons from a member of the Gold Coast Branch of Cake Decorator's in 2001, Kerrie branched out on her own, however the club and it's members were always a great support, she now belongs to the Tweed Valley Branch and enjoys club days, outings, Seminars and workshops, which keeps her up to date with the latest trends and styles of cakes. Through her love of cooking and cakes, ""Cakes By Kerrie"" finally was established about ten years ago. Kerrie takes great pride in her work, every attention to detail, not cutting corners, and making no two cakes the same, they are all created with much love and care. Her latest passion, along with her cake orders, is to now pass on her knowledge and skills to our future generations of up coming cake decorators.
