Business profile

The Foundation aim is to conduct research into causes and treatment for Autism and ADHD. We aim to find the most effective treatment option for these disorders and stop their exponential rise. We are on target to build a world class treatment and research centre. Autism is a term used to describe a set of behaviours in children with complex brain development issues. ASD manifests as varying degrees of difficulties in social interaction, verbal and non-verbal communication and meaningless repetitive behaviors. DSM-5 diagnostic manual, published in May 2013, has combined all the autism related disorders under one umbrella term of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Before this issue, these disorders, which included autism, pervasive developmental disorder-not otherwise specified (PDD-NOS), childhood disintegrative disorder, and Asperger's syndrome were considered as different disorders. The original version of the DSM in 1980s described Autism as "Childhood Schizophrenia".
