  "Southern Region Chiropractic focuses on treatment that is modern, safe and supported by the best available scientific research. We are dedicated to providing effective treatment of bones, joints, nerves, muscles and ligaments. Chiropractors were once thought to only treat the spine. Whilst this remains our area of expertise, at Southern Region Chiropractic we treat all the joints of the body including the elbow, wrist, shoulder, jaw, knee, hip and ankle. Traditionally chiropractic has mainly consisted of spinal manipulation or adjustment. This type of therapy is very helpful for many conditions however it is not a ''cure all'' and is in fact contraindicated in some situations. Our clinic focuses upon skilled spinal manipulation but we also provide a wide variety of other treatment methods including trigger point therapy, dry needling, sacro-occipital technique, cranial work, Active Release Technique, rehabilitation and exercise therapy. Every patient undergoes a comprehensive orthopaedic and neurological examination before any treatment is proposed. In most cases x-rays are not required but in some circumstances a patient may be referred for imaging to further evaluate their condition. We provide individualised care designed to address the cause of the problem, treat the symptoms and restore optimal health as soon as possible. We do this using all available research and evidence based guidelines to ensure our patients get the very best in chiropractic care."
