Any user can initiate a meetup, and then other users who have matching characteristics will be sent invites. They can respond with whether they are willing to attend, and then attend the locals' meetup, where likeminded people with the same life situation or other characteristics can meet and become friends. Another service is the real-time locals chat, which allows the locals to go to a chat room where only people within a couple of kilometres and ask for help in real-time or just a have a yarn when they are bored. This is another channel to bring the locals together in real life. For example, if someone is missing a printer cable and the shops are closed, the user can just go into the chat room and ask if he can borrow one. Anyone who provides that cable at that hour is surely will become a new friend. The local marketplace is the area where the locals can buy and sell goods and provide services to other locals, normally within a walking distance. Coming over and inspecting the goods is a great reason to meet another local in person and have a chat or a cuppa. Good Karma is the important part of our service.
