Sun Bae is a Korean Martial Art offering Taekwondo, Hapkido and Kumdo (sword). With centres in Brisbane, Toowoomba and Melbourne, there are classes for Cubs (age 4-5), Tigers (age 5-11) and Mixed (11-55+). Sun Bae classes focus on self defence, where you can train at your own pace and each class includes Taekwondo and Hapkido together, a complete system of kicking and striking together with grabs, throws and pins. There are separate classes for Kumdo (sword), as well as a beginner sparring class for kids and adults, using foam swords and protective gear - a lot of fun. Sun Bae incorporates the original martial art systems of Korea back into one. Achieve your black belt in Taekwondo, Hapkido and Kumdo. Our Master Instructor, teaching since 1983, has developed Sun Bae over many decades into a well-respected club with traditional values, a great range of activities, friendliness, and over 50% of our membership represented by families. Beginners are very welcome, no fitness required and if you are already experienced, your previous rank may be retained. Free to tryout!
