A blend of sophistication and fun
Penelope quickly understood what I wanted and suggested ideas, surfaces, fabrics, and colours suitable for an adult space that's shared with three energetic children. She also sourced a couple of retro pieces of furniture that are perfect feature pieces.
Our new space is a great blend of sophistication and fun with a mid-century modern and 60's retro feel. My three kids were included in some of the discussions around their own spaces, which they really appreciated.
Respecting our colour preferences and minimalist approach
In the initial visit, Penelope spent time discussing our needs and lifestyle, and on her second visit brought samples for the kitchen and a comprehensive Interior Design Report. She also recommended tradespeople whom she knew delivered high quality results. She made suggestions that were cost effective, and that I would not have thought of, while respecting our colour preferences and minimalist approach to decor. Thank you, Penelope.
I would highly recommend her to anyone
Penelope is awesome & I would highly recommend her to anyone. She definitely knows her stuff. I needed someone to give me advice (as) the amount of money I (had) wasted was ridiculous... but with a second eye & great advice I can now move forward. Don't hesitate, call Penelope.

Clear and creative approach to fixing the problems
Having got halfway through a renovation, we suddenly realised we had no idea what we were doing. By the time we engaged Plush Design Interiors, we had taken out a couple of walls, pulled up flooring and half removed a kitchen. It was all a huge mess and I had completely lost my passion for the renovation.
Penelope reignited that passion with a clear and creative approach to fixing the problems we had created, developing a colour and textural palette, and suggesting new furniture and lighting options we hadn't considered.
